About M.Tech Production Engineering


Production is a very crucial aspect in engineering process, which is associated to distribution and inventory control. It is a specialization program of mechanical engineering and is also called as manufacturing engineering which is a fusion of manufacturing technology and management science. Parul University offers a two year masters program in production engineering which focuses on machine tools, material science and quality control amongst others. Students are introduced to novel production processes, process chain and factory management which aids in bridging the gap between industrial applications and research. Moreover, students are trained in computer aided engineering and are also taught computer skills like CAD/CAM, thus leading to a stronger base. The seminar was organized with an aim to disseminate fundamental knowledge pertaining to the recent and futuristic trends in the field of Natural Fibre Composites.

Workshop on Wind Tunnel Experiments Techniques and Applications

Under Industry Defined Research Project titled 'To Reduce Water Consumption and Optimize Efficiency of Thermal Power Plants by Using Air Cooled Condensers' funded by Royal Academy of Engineering ,UK under Newton Bhabha Fund, Parul University had jointly with L&T and University of Surrey organized Workshop on 'Wind Tunnel Experiments- Techniques and Applications' on 17th March 2018.

The 2nd International Conference, Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology: Smart Engineering was Jointly organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University, India and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. The mechanism of civil and mechanical Engineering and Allied Engineering was covered under the theme of 'Smart Innovations' in PiCET'19. Go Kart Vehicle Engineering

The students of automobile engineering developed and engineered a go kart racing car for competing in the 4th season of the Indian Karting Championship. The project was developed collectively by the students of Diploma and Degree.
