About M.Tech Production Engineering

Production is a very crucial aspect in engineering process, which is associated to distribution and inventory control. It is a specialization program of Mechanical Engineering and is also called as Manufacturing Engineering which is a fusion of manufacturing technology and management science. Parul University offers a two year masters program in Production Engineering which focuses on machine tools, material science and quality control amongst others. Students are introduced to novel production processes, process chain and factory management which aids in bridging the gap between industrial applications and research. Moreover, students are trained in computer aided engineering and are also taught computer skills like CAD/CAM, thus leading to a stronger base.
