The Vadodara Kidovation Festival is a platform for young children in Gujarat to get the right support, mentorship and resources to realise their innovative ideas. The motive to organise this event is to ignite the young mind toward innovation. This festival will foster the curiosity, creativity, and imagination of students and support their innovation. The event will provide workspace where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode; and learn technical skills. Students will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of science, electronics, robotics, open-source microcontroller boards, and sensors. In order to foster inventiveness among students, we will conduct different activities ranging from EXPO, Showdown, Workshops, and Entrepreneurship Realm.
Vadodara Start-up Demo Day is a one of the flagship events, wherein the founders of startups from all over India get a chance to pitch their startups to the well-known industry experts and Investors. It is a celebration of everything that startups represent: memorable moments from the team formation, company generation, first milestones such as an MVP, first customers to revenue. It is about the pure grit, drive and determination that founders go through to create something new, innovative, and hopefully something with the right product-market fit that will go on to form the next wave of tech. We are aiming that our Demo Day will encourage other ambitious entrepreneurs hidden within the students to open up and share their ideas to launch and grow as a successful Entrepreneur, which will continuously create more jobs, boost the economy, strengthen global connections and boom innovations.
This is an idea sharing and nurturing platform for bringing together prominent business personalities, upcoming entrepreneurs and student innovators under a common roof to discuss and explore the scope of startups in India. The festival focuses on enhancing the student’s practical and industrial exposure, thus it goes on to provide various avenues for student internships, industrial networking, project incubation and startup funding. It features events such as startup expo, investor engagement sessions, startup Internship carnival, startup branding and marketing and Industry startup connect.
The innovative hackathon platform is designed to serve the purpose of channeling the innovative and creative elements of the students by coding and developing effective solutions. It acts as the platform for students to explore their computer skill sets to bring their visualization into creations. With over 433 ideas proposed against 150+ problem statements which are solved by over by 600 students from diverse academic backgrounds and institutions across the State, the hackathon acts as the ideal platform for the formulation of ideas.
WE- Women’s Start-up Meet is a grand platform for recognizing and appreciating the efforts of women entrepreneurs across the nation, who make their mark in the economic and social development of India. The two day festival hosts some of Gujarat’s most renowned female icons and business personalities. The start-up meet also features panel discussions, where the speakers discuss various topics such as the significance of entrepreneurship and key strategies to becoming an entrepreneur. It goes on to allow upcoming female entrepreneurs to explore various opportunities for expansion of their businesses and start ups.
