An accomplished and goal oriented professional qualified in Bachelor in Electrical Engineering in the year 1985 by Sardar Patel University, Gujarat and certified Energy Manager in the year 2007 by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, MoP, GoI with over +30 years of experience including a decade as Utility Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Chemical and Heavy Process Industry and remaining years in technical operations of Gas Based Combined Cycle Power Generating Station with over and above responsibilities as Designated Energy Manager finally retired in the year 2021.

Mr. Sanjay Jha

Chemical Engineer with over 34 years of expertise in plant operations, project management of major oil and gas EPC projects, and project execution of ammonia-urea fertilizer complex, along with a diploma in environmental management and ISO 14000/14001 certification. Active learning is essential, in my opinion, if students are to become practitioners who are diligent, moral, and passionate about what they do. This can be easily accomplished using a studio-based learning environment, through participatory learning, and effectively implemented through case studies.

As a regular faculty member at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and other platforms, he teaches on topics such as Data Analytics, Practical Digital Forensics, and the effective use of MS Office products, particularly Excel and MS Access. He has 36 years of experience in the chemical industry, and the last 34 years he has been in Transpek industries limited as a DGM with experience in QC,ADL,RnDsyntheticsand pilot plants. Currently, he is looking at new business development, and simultaneously, he runs Patel Analab's testing lab at Chaanijakatnaka.He hasxperience of handling advanced analytical advance instrument like HPLC,GC, UV-visible, FTIR,ICP, auto-titrator, GC-mass, etc.

Prior to SPARC, he was a Group Leader at GSK Thane and pursued post-doctoral research at NIH, USA. Dr. Rao led the discovery of new cancer drug molecules at SPARC and has received numerous honors, including Research Council membership at Nirma and Navrachna Universities and the Prof. S.K Memorial Award from M.S. University, Baroda in 2019. With over 80 patents/publications, Dr. Rao is a distinguished figure in synthetic organic chemistry.

Dipak Rai, former Vice President (IT)
Dipak Rai, former Vice President (IT), is an accomplished Visiting Faculty & Corporate Trainer with over 37 years of industry experience, ranging from trainee programmer to Vice-President (IT), working across MNC, public, and private sectors. He has trained over 1500 engineers from reputed universities on soft skills, demonstrating expertise in mapping industry processes for enhanced employability. With over 40 years in academia, he has served as visiting faculty at fifteen universities, designed numerous courses, and received accolades including the National Award for Best Faculty from IIMM. Rai is also recognized for his significant contributions by various prestigious organizations in the computer field.

Ms. Lolita Dutta

Ms. Lolita Dutta has been a design professional and academician with over 40 years of experience. Professional work has been in the ambit of exhibition and graphic design. She has worked with several ministries in the government of India, diplomatic missions, and both the private and public sectors.

As an academician, she has been responsible for curriculum development and have led teams and taught at several top design institutes. She has lectured and conducted workshops, written for journals and am currently writing a book on design. She has been a speaker , moderator at the Jaipur book mark, the Jaipur literature festival, 2017 and 2018. Subsequently at design conferences, most recently at the ADW, Ahmedabad design week since 2018

In the process of creating and developing workshops for students and young corporates, incorporating nature and learning through it,. Interests, include, travel, writing, working with mixed media, and cooking.

A student of Product Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Vikram subsequently majored in Economics from Mysore University. He has over three decades of professional experience as an entrepreneur and consultant in diverse fields of Design and Advertising, and during the past few years has taught design at various colleges as Visiting Faculty, Adjunct Professor and HOD of Industrial Design. He specializes in end to end Sign Design solutions for industry and corporate sectors, and has also been a part of the educational initiatives of CII and WDO.

Shri Ramanan Ramanathan

Parul Innovation & Entrepreneurship Research Centre

R. Ramanan served as the First Mission Director of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and Additional Secretary at NITI Aayog from June 2017 to May 2021. Under his leadership, AIM launched numerous innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, including:
  • Establishing over 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs in 680+ districts, benefiting over 5 million students with access to advanced technologies.
  • Setting up 75+ Atal Incubation Centers with 2900+ startups, including 650+ women-led ventures.
  • Creating 19 Atal Community Innovation Centers in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and rural areas.
  • Selecting 56 winners for the Atal New India ARISE challenge, promoting Make in India products.
  • Building a nationwide network of 6000+ mentors.

Previously, Ramanan was MD & CEO of CMC Ltd, leading it to significant growth and its amalgamation into Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in 2015. He joined TCS in 1981 after graduating from IIT Bombay in Electrical Engineering. An alumnus of Harvard Business School and accredited in Sustainability Leadership by Cambridge University, Ramanan has received numerous awards, including the IIT Bombay Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2023. He holds various prestigious positions, including Lifetime Chair of HBS AMP187 and board member roles in several organizations.

Mr. Bhavin Trivedi

Growing up in a family with limited means sparked my creativity and innovation early on. Initially a Science student, I transitioned to Fashion Design at NIFT. Before fully entering the fashion world, I explored brand management, advertising, and television design while assisting a senior designer. Now, as the Senior Associate and Head of Design at DARSHI SHAH BHAVIN TRIVEDI, I also teach as a Visiting Faculty Member at various design institutes, serving as a mentor and jury member at esteemed institutions like NIFT and Pearl Academy..

As an academician, she has been responsible for curriculum development and have led teams and taught at several top design institutes. She has lectured and conducted workshops, written for journals and am currently writing a book on design. She has been a speaker , moderator at the Jaipur book mark, the Jaipur literature festival, 2017 and 2018. Mr. Yunus Khimani

Yunus graduated with a degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M. S. University of Baroda, in 1981. With over 40 years as a practicing artist and 24 years of teaching in various art institutes across India, he has also run his own design business for eight years. His international experience includes a year in Mexico as an Artist-in-Residence. Formerly the Dean at the Indian Institute of Crafts & Design, he played a key role in developing a new undergraduate program. Since January 2019, he has been a self-employed independent artist.

Prof. G. Krishnamurthi

Faculty of Management Studies

Prof. Krishnamurthi, a mechanical engineer with a post-graduate degree from IIM Bangalore, transitioned to academia in 1994 after over two decades in industry. He began at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), focusing on project and operations management for rural transformation. He played a key role in establishing the Indukaka Ipcowala Institute of Management and served as Dean at CHARUSAT, where he also founded the Human Resource Development Centre. Since 2014, he has been a Senior Professor and Dean at the Development Management Institute in Patna and is now the Director of the Foundation for Catalysing Rural Transformation. With over 50 years in the field, he has consulted for numerous organizations and authored various publications in management and development.

Mr. Jagdish Acharya

After completing BE(Hons.) with practice School from BITS, Pilani in 1975, Jagdish B. Acharya worked with BHEL at its plants in Bhopal and Bangalore in Production, Quality Assurance and Computer program developments for Quality. He also did several 25 to 40 hour courses in SQC, Design of Experiments, Reliability etc. by ISI, Bangalore and Proficiency courses at IISC of PG level like Pattern Recognition, Parallel Computer Architecture, Expert Systems etc. He also did MBA in Finance from Bangalore University before joining Truetzschler at Ahmedabad. Here he was responsible for all activities for Electronics of Textile machines and IT systems till retirement. Post retirement he is guiding Rotomag Motors and Controls Pvt Ltd at Anand for solar Pump Controls.

Mr. Nipun Soni

Mr. Nipun Soni is a Chemical Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry and engineering consulting, both in India and abroad. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, progressing from Graduate Engineer Trainee to Manufacturing Head, and have worked across multiple functions including Projects, Production, Process Safety, Asset Management, Reliability Improvement, and CAPEX Management. He is grateful for the strong foundation he has received from my seniors and organizations, which has allowed me to develop my colleagues’ capabilities. Now, he aspires to add value to the next generation of graduates.
