About The Department of Student Welfare

We believe, within every student lie hopes which are not believed, dreams which are not pursued, talent which is not awakened and potential which manifests the hopes, dreams and talents into a living reality. As the department of student welfare our role is to create, facilitate and develop inspiration filled platforms where students can explore their highest form of individual expression. We believe the only way such an exploration is possible is when our students receive the highest form of comfort and welfare through their academic journey. As a way of creating endless memories, the department of student welfare organizes student centered events, which explore the essence of culture, the passion of art and craft, and the resounding echo of music. From our annual cultural festival Dhoom to our technical festivals Projections and innovative exhibition Tech Expo, we seek to deliver not only a fulfilling learning experience, but a fun filled exploration of a student's endless potential. Our success is measured by the happiness of our students.

For me there is nothing in this world that is more fulfilling than putting up a smile on the face of everyone around me, to lighten up the flames of every student's creative potential and to bring to life the limitless dreams of all our students. This is the ideology which fuels the purpose behind all the events, festivities and activities which we annually organize at the PU campus. As the Dean of student welfare, along with the highly committed family which makes up the Events and Student Welfare Department, we joyfully welcome you to your extended family throughout your academic journey. Student Representative Council

Leadership is the hallmark of every successful journey. At the department of student welfare, our strategic efforts are designed to develop and nurture the leadership qualities within every student. To achieve this goal, the student representative council acts as a platform, that has been specifically put together for students to explore their endless leadership potential. With its dynamic structures, the council facilitates for the growth and development of every student in the various aspects of life. One of the fundamental lessons which we seek to inculcate within the students through this council is the ability to work and corporate as a team. Our cell ensures the representation, common good and the overall welfare of all the students.

Extra Growth Through Extra Curricular
