The Department’s efforts have been greatly aligned with the contemporary global scenery, so as to actively participate and collaborate with other research parties. With its Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), the department of research & development, has been engaged in various forms of innovative research, which have made an academic, social and industrial impact. Not only does it serve the purpose of conducting research, it is also designed with the prime objective of facilitating the students’ research projects. Owing to its national recognition, there have been various State, National and Organisational grants awarded to the department, which has made it possible to go an extra-mile in seeking practical solutions to humanity’s greatest concerns.
