The Faculty of Arts offers a three year Bachelor of Arts in Geography which seeks to provide the students with the much needed exposure to the various landscapes which make up the earth and the interdependance within these resources. The field deals with geograhic landmarks and natural resources which have been imperative towards the development, excavation and exporation of the earth and rock elements. This study equips students with the relevent skillsets and the much needed exposure to the scope of the field which allows them to be effective contributors of the natural resource industry. The curriculum of this program has been designed in a comprehensive way which allows the students to study the diverse earth seasons, climate, atmosphere, soil, streams, landforms and oceans. As a way of providing students with the most enriching exposure of this field, various studies in rock structures and their formation over time through evolution and their impact on the earth's surface are conducted. The program focuses on physical aspects of geography which includes the climate, atmosphere, ecosystems and natural processes of the Earth including tectonic plates, glaciers, erosion and volcanology. The field of geography provides students with the skillsets and abilities to navigate the scope of research through extensive field work excercises along with numerous expeditions. Beyond the technical aspects of this program, the field also allows students to showcase a unique understanding of the essential interpersonal skills and personality development training which places them a step ahead in their career. The geography program is taken under the instruction of the Faculty of Arts experts who go on to shape and develop the students in such a manner which allows them to engage and shape the geographic world.
