Vadodara-based PU has made its mark on the global academic map by registering a remarkable debut in the global rankings, earning a place in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025. THE is an assessment for evaluating universities worldwide on their efforts and contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This recognition affirms the University’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility towards the community and makes Parul University the only university from Gujarat to be ranked in the global rankings.

The university has been placed in the Top 50 Indian institutions with an Overall Global Impact Ranking in the band of 1001-1500, reflecting the University’s consistent efforts towards global development, addressing critical social, economic, and environmental challenges through education and research.

PU received its strongest performance under SDG 4 of Quality Education, securing a global rank in the band of 301-400, and placing in the Top 20 Indian institutions. This achievement highlights the University’s initiatives to ensure inclusive and equitable learning, strengthen academic outcomes, and expand lifelong learning opportunities.

Under SDG 3 of Good Health and Well-being, the University ranked in the band of 801-1000 globally, and Top 40 in India. Through robust healthcare education, mental wellness programs, and community health outreach, Parul University continues to foster a culture of well-being on and beyond its campus.

In the area of SDG 5 of Gender Equality, PU earned a global rank in the band of 601-800, positioning it in the Top 30 Indian institutions. With inclusive leadership, equal opportunity initiatives, and strong gender-support frameworks, the University is championing equity at every level of its academic ecosystem.

Additionally, the University was placed in the Top 50 in India for SDG 17 - Partnerships for the Goals, with a global rank in the band of 1001–1500.
