About B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics

The Faculty of Applied Science provides a three year Bachelors program in Nutrition and Dietetics which seeks to impart within the students an understanding of the fundamentals of food and nutrition. Parul University’s Nutrition and Dietetics program focuses on promoting healthy living standards through deductive scientific models and experimentation. The department’s elite expert faculties and resource persons, work towards integrating the classroom theory based learning with the laboratory practical training. The Faculty is equipped with state of the art research facility which seek to provide the students with an exposure to the contemporary scientific research on food, nutrition & dietetics and also encourages student contribution on the various levels of social welfare and development. Our curriculum is strategically designed to provide students with the most comprehensive exposure to real time nutrition and diet concerns to play an active role in disease control and societal welfare. Beyond the scope of the academics, the program also seeks to enhance the career competencies and practical skillsets of the students to match up the various industrial expectations.
