About BA. (Honors) English


English is one of the most fundamental languages, which has a universal significance across the world and is used as the most acceptable medium of communication and literature. The Faculty of Arts, offers a four year honors degree program in English, which endeavours to impart within the students the relevant knowledge and understanding of the English language. The curriculum is uniquely designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of not only the methods and manner of communicating in the English langage but also in regards to the various principles of literary writings which are related to the language. The Faculty of Arts is equipped with an elite league of faculties and experts in English, who shape and guide students in the understanding of the concepts and elements of english. The teaching methodology is practical oriented, through an exposure to debate, group discussion, public speaking, and essay writing, which shape the perspective of the students and provide an in-depth understanding of the English language. As a way of making the learning process more relatable and understandable for the students the Faculty of Arts is equipped with a state of art language laboratory, which makes use of advanced digital systems, allowing students to fully engage and learn the various aspects of the language. Students who develop a mastery of the English language have a wide pool of career opportunities which allows them to participate in both academic and corporate circles. Beyond focusing on the academic elements, the program goes on to focus on the personal developmental aspects and communication abilities of each student, in preparation for their career.
