The rise in global retailing and the increase in the availabity of effecient and effective logistics networks has ushered a new era which demands the skillsets and expertise of individuals who can navigate the numerous aspects of this field. The Faculty of Management studies offers a two year post graduate degree program in retail management which seeks to provide the students with the much knowledge, skillsets and expertise required to navigate the scope of this field. The Retail Management program deals with the fundamentals of retailing, retail analytics, retail branding, retail strategies, retail logistics and E commerce. The Faculty of Management studies through this program, endevours to develop within the students a unique understanding of the various trends and practical skills which are essential for the students who desire to venture into the scope of this field.  The faculty has established collaborations with numerous leading organisations and orgnanisations across the retail sectors which  have been providing the students with the much needed practical and skill based knowledge required to navigate this field. The program creates a thriving learning environment through cases, internships and comprehensive projects with an exposure to the most advanced concepts of retailing. The faculty has also been equipped with the most skilled and highly trained experts who go on to provide the students with the most current insights into this field, allowing them to stay up to date with the most recent trends in the  retail industry. Upon the completion of this program, the students will get to move a step ahead into the scope of their studies so as to develop highly innovative and practical retail solutions through both physical and digital systems.

Xplore-2020

A two day national management event organised by Faculty of Management studies Parul University. More than 800 participants participated from various UG and PG colleges of Gujarat during two days. Xplore'20 was graced by Sanjay Raval, Motivational Speaker and Gayatri Vyas, CEO, VNM GUJARAT with two of our alumni, Hardik Desai from first batch 2004 of MBA programme, currently working as Manager L&T operations Mumbai & Manas Maheta, HR Manager, Team lead.

IN Conference-2020

Faculty of management studies just observed an end of very successful national academic conference INC 2020 held on 19-20 February. This year's theme was: Innovative Management Practices for Sustainable Business Models along with publication partner Journal Press of India, a leading academic publication house. Selected papers will be published in their recognized journal 'Manthan: Journal of Commerce and Management'.

Industrial Visit to Coca Cola

The management students made an industrial visit to Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCBPL), Goblej District of Gujarat which is the largest bottling partner of the coca-cola company in India. Students learnt the vital aspects of industrial, technical and management essential for developing their practical skill sets.

Anveshan

Anveshan, an inter college one day Summer Project Presentation Competition for students of B-Schools across the state was organized by Faculty of Management Studies. The event is designed to allow the management students to take up and practice their leadership role by guiding these students in their presentations. A total of 35 management students across Gujarat participated in SIP competition while 50 others took part in Poster Presentation and Power- point Presentation is fields such as Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Management.
