About Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

In order to supplement the demand for effective resources and experts in the field of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Engineering offers a 3 year diploma program in Mechanical Engineering which focuses on developing and shaping the skills of the students in the various aspects of the field. The Faculty of Engineering runs this diploma program which focuses on enhancing the understanding of mechanics, dynamics and structural analysis of mechanical systems. As a way of shaping the knowledge and skills of the students, the department has adopted a unique approach to the scope of this program, which provides the students with a comprehensive understanding of core mechanical principles such as thermodynamics, material science, structural analysis and electricity. The study is made possible through the use of effective tools such as Computer Aided Design CAD and Computer Aided Manufacturing, amongst others. The program is AICTE and NBA accredited, thus ensuring that the students get to receive a quality assured learning experience, centred on developing their Mechanical Engineering knowledge base. As a way of providing students with the most practical hands on experience, the faculty is equipped with the laboratories such as ANSYS, Fluent CFX, HTRI and CREO, along with prominent international research collaboration such as the Royal Academy of Engineering. With our skilled expert faculties and resource persons from eminent institutions across the nation such IITs and NITs, we provide our students with an engaging and enriching learning experience of mechanical engineering.
