The research excellence awards provide a platform for appreciating the countless research efforts of the University’s researchers and scholars. The platform seeks to recognise the contributions made by the faculties of the University which are research and innovation centric and seek to provide the most comprehensive solutions to some of the challenging issues in the society and the community. The awards are annually organised to showcase the leading research efforts across multiples streams and disciplines. Through these awards, the Centre of Research for Development has managed to effectively promote numerous research practices which have been furthering and developing the scope of academia and creating leading pathways for students and faculties. The awardees throughout this ceremony are awarded for their numerous and countless efforts in the fields of engineering and technology, life sciences, social sciences and humanities, medical sciences amongst others.
