On my first day, I was completely blown away with all the facilities which the institute was offering its students. Right from well-equipped labs to the Ayurvedic hospital, we had everything required for a comprehensive learning experience.

I always considered Library and Information Sciences as a minor field. But after joining this program in PU, I became more broad minded regarding it. I learnt that, there is no point biasing the traditional and digital means of information and they can indeed go hand in hand.

Parul University has remained etched in my memory because it has been exceptionally good in encouraging me to participate in both academic as well as non-academic events. This has provided me a 360-degree development.

We medical students have to study a lot. Considering our hectic routine, the University has designed a special library for us, where we can study, rest and also refresh ourselves with certain activities. The library is equipped with all the books, e books, high speed Wi-Fi, comfortable resting chairs, coffee machine and much more. This student friendly environment enabled me and my friends to study collectively.

I had teachers who always passed us constructive criticism, which not only kept us grounded, but also kept pushing us to get better each time. This is helping us solve cases independently.

Our institute has its own hospital which has many multi-specialty departments. Hands on sessions during hospital timings had provided us an in depth knowledge to context which was in fact out of our curriculum. Extra knowledge like this kept getting accumulated each year, and gave an upper hand at work.

Being a part of the Faculty of Nursing in Parul University has been by all means one of my greatest learning experiences, and the exposure I have had over the ages has really developed my abilities to care for patients and generally the people in my society.

At the Faculty of Pharmacy, I had access to all medical resources, books and journals including the University hospital which provided me with the practical exposure I needed.

The faculty of Public Health provided me ample opportunities for research to seek the solutions to various global health concerns. This enlightened me regarding different health issues prevailing in various parts of the world. I can confidently address these issues now, and in continuous update with the current trends.

I am always inclined towards helping people and the Public Health faculty equipped me with the essential tools and ingredients necessary to put my passion into effective practice.

The programme has transformed me personally as well as professionally. The faculties here are so experienced, incredibly supportive and they kept challenging me to do better.

The programme has helped me to excel in this field through interaction with teachers, field visits, and regular group discussions. This has instilled in me a mixture of qualities, due to which I am able to work effectively for NGOs.

My course syllabus has been successful enough in bringing light to different oppressed conditions of people, communities and groups. Having a beforehand knowledge regarding this has successfully allowed me to advocate these social issues confidently.

I also think that it made her do well in her interviews because she was always involved in the things that she was studying. So, I really believe that the practical lessons she learnt at Parul University gave her a high chance of getting this good placement.

The first time I joined Parul University I knew how to speak, but I did not know how to communicate. But because of the regular lectures on communication skills, and the help I received from the career development cell, I developed the ability to relate and communicate using good manners, and above all I developed confidence in my words, which also gave me confidence in myself. All I can say is these soft skills made me communicate better during my interview and I managed to get this good placement.

The expert talks organised by Parul University were really helpful for the placement of our child. In the classroom he was taught by experienced teachers, but in the expert talks he was taught by people who were actually working in the field. So they really helped him to understand how things function in the work environment. Every time he came back home after the expert talks, he had a lot of motivation from the speakers and I think this really helped him get this wonderful placement.

I was never confident in my own individual ability to tackle aptitude tests, however the career development cell organised for me regular aptitude tests and I believe this gave me the knowledge, and above all it gave me the confidence to take my final tests, all the fear was completely gone. I strongly feel that it was because of these regular trainings I managed to acquire such a good placement.

I never knew that I would be able to master any other languages apart from English and Hindi. But through the linguistics learning under the Career development, I was able to pass my French exam and now I am a fluent French speaker, which is an added advantage for my career. I am grateful for such an opportunity to learn in this enriching space.

This cell has given me very good exposure to visit various defense establishments. This training has widened my career prospective and at this point I am fully confident to be a part of the Armed Forces upon my graduation. We are given continuous information and complete guidance on preparation of examinations and entries into the Armed Forces.

Being a part of the armed forces motivational cell has allowed me to grow and develop my abilities to maintain disciplinary conduct and practices towards everything that I do. The physical training and drills which we engage in has also allowed me to enhance my skill sets and physical competencies.
