Gender Equality

Parul University is deeply committed to advancing gender equality, recognizing it as a fundamental human right essential for a peaceful, prosperous, and just society. Actively working to break barriers and challenge gender stereotypes, the university fosters an environment of equal participation, where women and men have the same opportunities to excel academically and professionally.

To promote female education, Parul University supports girls’ schooling from early childhood through higher education as part of its Unnat Bharat Abhiyan activities. The university also provides a scholarship for the first girl child in a family pursuing a graduation program, reducing financial barriers and encouraging female enrolment in higher education.

In leadership, Parul University champions women’s representation across various roles, from Vice-President to EV driver, establishing a governance structure that values gender diversity and supports professional growth. This focus on women in leadership positions ensures that women have the opportunity to shape decision-making processes and influence the future of the university and beyond.

The university also prioritizes the health and well-being of its female community members, offering resources that support both physical and mental health. Through counselling services, wellness programs, and awareness campaigns, Parul University promotes a holistic approach to women’s well-being.

Aligned with the broader goals of SDG 5, Parul University advocates for gender equality by creating a supportive and inclusive campus environment.
