About B.Pharm (Practice)


The Bachelor of Pharmacy Practice program is a specialised bridging program, which allows practising pharmacists to pursue an in-depth knowledge and understanding into the field of pharmacy. The faculty of pharmacy offers this two year undergraduate program which seeks to impart within the students an in-depth understanding into the fundamental aspects of pharmacy. The learning process throughout this program is supplemented by the field of practise which the students will be engaged in the various streams of pharmacy. With the growing scope of the pharmaceutical industry and the rising demand for effective treatment modalities associated with viruses and sicknesses, pharmacists have been playing a role of great significance by meeting this demand. Beyond merely the treatment protocols and procedures, the field of pharmacy also explores various forms of practical research which can be utilised as a way of innovating and coming up with practical solutions which can be utilised for the welfare of humanity. As a way of providing the highest form of practical training to the students, the faculty of pharmacy is equipped with state of the art facilities and laboratories for research and novel innovations. The curriculum is strategically designed to provide students with an understanding into the subjects like  Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy. The program allows the practising pharmacists to enhance their training and further develop their competences.
