About MD Ayurved (Kaumarbhritya)


Kaumarabhritya, an integral discipline within Ayurvedic education, focuses on the healthcare of infants, children, and adolescents. The Faculty of Ayurved offers a prestigious three-year MD Degree program in Kaumarabhritya, providing comprehensive knowledge of pediatric care and management. This specialized curriculum delves into classical Ayurvedic texts such as Kaumarabhritya Bala Tantra, Kashyapa Samhita, and Charaka Samhita, elucidating the holistic approach to pediatric health and well-being. Through rigorous study, students gain a nuanced understanding of pediatric physiology, pathology, and therapeutics. The program integrates traditional wisdom with contemporary medical sciences, fostering critical thinking and evidence-based practice among students.
