Workshops are organized to enhance the technical skills and personality of the teachers and students. This main aim of this program is to create awareness among the participants about the recent developments in the industry. Workshops are also organized in the areas, such as self-development, leadership, workplace communication, etc.

Workshop on Fabrication of Pressure Vessel

A one week workshop was organized on “Fabrication of Pressure Vessels” by Mechanical Engineering Department of Parul Institute Of Technology in association with Indian Institute of Welding Baroda from 5th January 2015 to 10th January 2015.It was headed by Mr. R.R. Vishwakarma a renowned name in the field of metallurgy and NDT of power plants. In this workshop various topics like NDT, Welding Defects, ASME codes, Pressure Vessels and Metallurgy were discussed. The main aim of this workshop is to make students familiar with the demands of industry.

3D Printing Technology

This one day workshop was organized by Parul University in association with Computer Society of India, Vadodara Chapter as a part of their golden Jubilee celebration. In this workshop the application and future scope of 3D printing was discussed by Prof. Bhavesh Mewada, Head Mechanical Engineering Department, Parul Institute of technology. The chief guest of the event Mr. Henry Philip General Manager, Sales, Ingram Micro, India, and Mr. Deepak Shah, Chairman Computer society of India delivered a speech on the 3D technology and its application in daily life. A live demonstration on product manufacturing using 3D printer was also done.

Around 40 Participants from various industries like L&T, Met-Heat Engineering Pvt. Ltd, Ambica Enterprise etc. and educational institutes attended the workshop along with the faculty members and students of Parul University.
