Graduates of Mechanical Engineering will:

Programme Outcomes

The outcomes of UG Mechanical Engineering programme are:
a. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals.

b. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.

c. An ability to design mechanical engineering components and processes within economic,
environmental, ethical and manufacturability constraints.

d. An ability to function effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

e. An ability to identify, formulates, analyze and solve Mechanical Engineering problems.

f. An ability to understand professional, ethical and social responsibility.

g. An ability to communicate effectively through written reports or oral presentations.

h. The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a
global, economic, environmental, and societal context.
i. An ability to recognize the need and to engage in independent and life-long learning.

j. A knowledge of contemporary issues.

k. An ability to use the appropriate techniques and modern engineering tools necessary for
engineering practice.
