Meet The Inspiring Faces Of PU : PU Brand Ambassadors

Everyone either stands for something or is striving to stand for something, and in all of this, there are those who will always choose to stand for more. An Ambassador is someone who represents everything that an institution or an organisation stands for. Each of our 5 brand ambassadors bring something new to our PU table, something that inspires each one of us to reach for greater heights. Be it mastering our craft, grabbing every opportunity that comes in the way, setting benchmarks for others to follow and striving for perfection in everything we do, they truly represent everything that every Parulite surely stands for.

By now you have seen them all over our social media and campaigns, now you can get to know everything that makes them the source of inspiration that has fueled the hearts of our students.

Pratik Gandhi is the nationwide sensation behind one of the best Indian web series to be ever made, Scam 1992 and tens of super hit Gujarati movies like Wrong Side Raju and Bey Yaar. With his 16 year long journey from the stages of Gujarati theatre to national OTT platforms, Pratik sets the right example that with patience, dedication and hard work, one can make it on his own, by trusting and refining one’s talents.

Vaani Kapoor, the filmfare award winning actress, is the official ambassador of the Faculty of Design at Parul University. One of the best known faces of the modeling and film industry, her story inspires one to take charge of the narrative of their life. Vaani’s mantra of making trends, instead of following trends is something that will surely fuel the imaginations of PU’s design students.

Kinjal Dave created a name for herself in the Gujarati Folk Music industry when she was only 19 years old. Her success story persuades the students to chase after their dreams and gives them an important life lesson that there is potential in every field if your talent knows no bounds.

Bhoomi Trivedi is a Bollywood playback singer who broke into limelight from the reality show Indian Idol. She auditioned for the show twice and was on the verge of quitting midway both times. However, that did not stop her from trying the third time when she eventually finished as the runner up. Her life story encourages the students to be patient and to never give up on their dreams.

Malhar Thakar can be aptly called the face of the Gujarati film industry currently. When everyone was looking to make it in Bollywood, he took the road less travelled to give back to black blockbusters to not only put himself but the whole Gujarati film industry on the map. Malhar, with his perfectionism and happy go lucky attitude, motivates the youth to break the stereotypes and lead from the front.

With inspirational figures like these, PU students sure have great role models to look upto. Parul University is proud to be associated with these well known youth icons  that emblemize our motto and values.
