Dr. Hemant Toshikhane, esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Ayurved at PU, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished dignitaries and delegates. The conference was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guests: Dr. Raghuram Bhatt, President of NCISM (MARBISM), Govt. of India; Acharya Manishji, Founder and Director of HIMS & JEENA SIKHO LIFECARE LTD; and Dr. Hasmukh Soni, Chairman of the Gujarat Ayurved Medical Association, Ahmedabad. The inaugural ceremony was marked by the release of the Preconference Proceedings book and the presentation of Best Scientific Paper Awards. Dr. Komal Patel, Vice President & Medical Director (Medical & Paramedical Health Science) at PU, delivered an inspiring presidential address, setting the tone for the conference.
The first day of the conference showcased a series of erudite scientific sessions, meticulously curated for the academic community. These sessions delved into pivotal topics such as Ayurveda regulations outside India, the synergy between Ayurvedic surgery and modern science, the contemporary relevance of Ayurveda in clinical practice, innovative approaches to mental health, Ayurveda's role in cancer management, and the intricacies of the Clinical Establishment Act. The event was graced by esteemed speakers including Dr. Harish Verma, Director of Best Ayurveda Ltd., Canada; Dr. P. Hemantha Kumar, Professor and Head of the Department of Surgery at NIA, Jaipur; Dr. Shrikant K, National Manager of Scientific Services at Himalaya Wellness Company, Karnataka; Dr. Suhas Kumar Shetty, Principal and Medical Director of Shri B M K Ayurveda College, Belagavi; Acharya Manish Ji, Founder and Director of HIMS & JEENA SIKHO Lifecare Ltd; Dr. Gaurang Joshi, International Ayurveda Physician and Director of Atharva Multispecialty Ayurveda Hospital and Research Center, Rajkot; Dr. Hasmukh Soni, Chairman of the Gujarat Ayurved Medical Association, Ahmedabad; and Dr. Ranjitsinh D.
