With the ever-increasing burden on the climate, there has been a greater need for the development of better methods that will reduce the weight of modernization on the planet. In furthering these efforts, PU became the first university in India to receive a UK Design registration certificate from the Intellectual Property Office, United Kingdom. The university registered a system and apparatus for live solar trackers. PU has been contributing towards bringing sustainable change in the environment and this design will go a long way to conserve energy and act against climate change. A team of dedicated professors who contributed toward this success include Deeptanshu Gadhvi, Maulesh Parikh, Dr. Vijay Upadhye, and Ajaykumar Gadhavi. Over the past years, PU has been dedicated to the advancement of the scope of research and innovation. To date, countless patents have been successfully filed for various designs and more continue to be published.
