PU receives the “Crusader of the youth” award at the A decade of IIMUN ceremony, Mumbai

The strength of a nation is in the hands of the youth, the leaders who will carry the nation forward in the future. PU having the passion to transform lives through education has been continuously creating pathways to ensure the growth and development of its students. With its efforts being recognized the university was recently awarded the prestigious Crusader of the youth award at the ‘A decade of IIMUN’ ceremony in Mumbai. The award was received by the university’s vice president, Dr. Parul Patel from the hands of Mr. Ajay Piramal Indian Billionaire and industrialist, chairman of the Piramal group.  This award is given to institutions that have been making strides to uplift the youth of India over the past dedicate.

Over the past years, PU has been equipping its students with the necessary tools to assist them to navigate through their academics as well as their dreams. Through strategic structures which include ongoing leadership training such as the internation tour under the school of leadership, start-up and entrepreneurship platforms, Civil services and motivational training amongst many others. In addition, the university continuously organizes events where some of the country’s most inspirational figures visit the campus to interact with the students. This is a great testament PU will continuously invest in the hard work and dedication toward empowering the young generation.
