Empowering Movement, Elevating Lives: Parul University Advances Clinical Excellence and Innovation through Physio Fest 2025

A holistic blend of academic rigor, clinical insight, and motivational engagement was demonstrated at the Physio Fest 2025, held by the Faculty of Physiotherapy at Vadodara-based Parul University. The event wasn’t just about academics - it was about stories, breakthroughs, and a shared love for healing. It brought together experts, students, and thought leaders to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The fest's highlight was the engaging and emotionally resonant PU Talks, where notable speakers shared powerful messages. Dr. Nimit Oza, Urologist and Author, captivated the audience by sharing his unexpected journey of becoming an author and addressing mental health issues by quoting, “ You have the power over your mind, not the outside world. Believe in yourself and you will find strength”. While Dr. Neha Shukla, Founder of Dr. Neha’s Physiotherapy Clinic, delivered a deeply motivating session emphasizing the critical role physiotherapists play in healthcare and encouraged students to pursue the profession not as a fallback, but as a dream. Dr. Rohit Gupta, an advanced PNF Therapist, inspired the gathering by saying, “You don't have to be on social media but you have to have knowledge of everything,” with his focus on hands-on learning, stressing the importance of workshops and skills in empowering patients to overcome disabilities through physiotherapy.

Complementing these talks were expert sessions by some of the most respected professionals in the field. Dr. Priyanshu V Rathod from RK University, Dr. V Sundar Kumar from MSRAUS, Dr. Ashiwini Kale from Anand College of Physiotherapy, Dr. Sagar Naik, CEO of Asian Physiotherapy and Research Centre, Dr. Jignesh Patel, PhD guide at Parul University and Mr. Ashish Bhavsar, Founder of Wave Visions, conducted insightful lectures and clinical sessions that expanded student perspectives and enhanced their practical knowledge. These sessions were crafted to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world therapeutic application.

An intellectually stimulating panel discussion featuring Dr. R Harihar Prakash from Bhaikaka University, emphasized community building by saying, “When we say I-I, its Illness, and when we say We-We its wellness”. While Dr. V Sundar Kumar from MSRUAS, Dr. Snehal Shah from Aashray Advanced Physiotherapy Centre, and Dr. Unnati Bhatt of Isha Hospital provided an in-depth look into the evolving landscape of physiotherapy. The panel tackled key topics such as future innovations, clinical challenges, the need for continued education, the importance of documentation of the research work done, and offering invaluable guidance to students preparing to enter the professional world.

With its seamless blend of knowledge sharing, motivational dialogue, and festive spirit, this event has once again cemented its place as one of Parul University’s most impactful academic and cultural festivals. “Physio Fest 2025 was a celebration of clinical excellence and compassionate care. It’s heartening to see young physiotherapists shaping the future of healthcare with such dedication,” said Dr. Geetika Patel, Vice President (Quality, Research & Health Sciences) and Medical Director, Parul University. The event celebrated more than just the profession - it celebrated people, purpose, and the power of physiotherapy to transform lives. With this, the university remains committed to fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring its physiotherapy students are equipped to shape the future of global health with knowledge, skill, and heart.
