About Post Graduate Studies M.S./M.D. Ayurveda

The Master of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery program is a 3 year post graduate program which seeks to impart within the students knowledge of the vital areas of specialisation in Ayurved. Ayurved is an alternative healthcare which harnesses the healing essence of nature to provide healthcare and medical solutions for the welfare of the society. Parul University’s Faculty of Ayurved offers this program and seeks to impart within the students the vital fundamentals of Ayush. The field is well established within the Indian subcontinent as it is rooted within the fabric of the nation’s cultural value system, thus providing the students who pursue this program with a wide pool of opportunities to explore. The Faculty is equipped with state of the art facilities for research and development which seek to provide the students with a practical hands on exposure in the fields of Ayurved. The curriculum is a blend of both ancient and modern standards of healthcare and provides students with specialisations in areas such as Prasuti Tantra, Shalya Tantra and Shalakya Tantra. The University is equipped with a fully bedded Ayush learning hospital which goes on to provide the students with the much needed platform to practise and shape their hands on training skills. The program goes on to develop and nurture the students’s interpersonal skills, thus allowing them to develop the competencies vital for their lucrative career prospects.
