About M.Sc IT Bioinformatics

The field of bioinformatics has solved numerous challenges and has made crucial researches turn successful in no time. Bioinformatics is a fusion of Biology and Computer that integrates technology and biological sciences together. It can be defined as a combination of computer science, engineering and mathematics to understand biological information in a better way. The Faculty of IT & Computer Science believes in imparting within each and every student the advanced practical learning which will allow every student to gain expertise throughout the entire course of their program. As a way of preparing students for their practise, the program is designed in such a way which provides students with the most enriching hands-on training to enable them to work at higher roles in all sectors of pharmaceutical and biomedical organisations as well as biotechnology and research institutions. In pursuing this program, the students will be guided by some of the leading experts in the field who get to prepare them with the essential skills to navigate the scope of the industry.
