About M.Sc. Information Technology

The Master of Science in Information Technology is a two year post graduate program which allows students to develop a specialisation and research based understanding into the various aspects of the field. With the growing scope of Industry 4.0 and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and internet of Things, the knowledge of advanced computing through Information Technology has maintained a place of great importance. As a way of providing students with the most effective practical training, the Faculty of IT and Computer Science has been equipped with state of the art facilities for research and computer laboratories where students get to engage in various knowlegde finding schemes which give them the finest exposure. The uniquely designed curriculum of this program provides students with an exposure to the software aspects of computing which include Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things, Cloud Computing, Security and Networking. The computing department of the University has been granted a supercomputer facility which is funded by the government and will allow the students the opportunity of engaging in advanced computing related work. The alumni of Parul University’s computer application program are currently with the world’s top fortune 500 tech giants such as Google, SAP, Facebook.
