About M.Sc in Radiography

As way of imparting within the students a specialised understanding of the scope of radiology, the Faculty of Medicine's Department of Paramedical and Health Sciences offers a 2 year Masters Degree program in Radiology, which seeks to develop apt and expert human resources who have the skill sets and abilities to offer the highest of form quality diagnostics to every patient. Inorder to provide the patients with the most essential means and methods of medical diagnosis, the radiology program trains the students in regards the various means and methods of providing effective treatment to the patients. The process of diagnosis follows a very complex channel which involves the use of advanced scanning and radio technology which is utilised for the purpose of scanning the internal organs. The field exposes students to a wide array of expertise in the aspects of basic X-ray, clinical radiotherapy, radiobiology, clinical trials, palliative care, clinical chemotherapy. This post graduate program features extensive research which allows the students to explore the various aspects of the field and innovate new technologies and solutions to the various aspects radiography. As a way of providing the students with the most practical hands on training, the Faculty is equipped with 750 multispeciality hospital which allows the students to gain an indepth exposure to the field practice on realtime patients, in preparation of the industry.
