About MS (Shalya Tantra)

Shalya Tantra represents a fundamental branch of Ayurveda dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of surgical conditions and procedures. The Faculty of Ayurveda offers an esteemed three-year Ms Degree program in Shalya Tantra, aimed at equipping students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in surgical intervention as per Ayurvedic principles. This specialized curriculum draws extensively from classical Ayurvedic texts such as Sushruta Samhita, elucidating the principles and practices of Shalya Tantra.
