About M.Plan Urban and Regional Planning


The need to develop urban and regional areas has been a great concern mainly due to the need to ensure developments which relate to the global scope of sustainabillity and sustainable development. The Faculty of Architecture offers a 2 year Masters Planning Degree in Urban and Rregional Planning which seeks to provide the students with the most essential training and understanding of the numerous aspects of this field. The scope of the program has design so as to provide and equip the students with the knowledge and understanding of planning urban areas and city structures along with numerous regional areas in such a way which provides the students with the ability to provide the much needed planning solutions. With the growing concerns for the environment, the program shapes students not only in their ability to develop highly sustainable structures which do not degrade the ecological well-being. The Faculty is equipped with some of the state of the art facilities and laboratories which allow the students to develop the much needed knowledge and skillsets in the field which allows them to develop their knowledge and skillsets in the field. The students also get the opportunity to learn form a league of highly skilled experts and faculties who go on to provide the students with the much needed knowledge and expertise in the field of regional and urban planning.
