About Military Engineering (Weapon Technology)

The defense forces make up the most fundamental and vital service sector for any particular nation, and the significant which they play has created a great need to make use of and utilise the most advanced forms of technologies in machinery and weaponary so as to be effective in sertvice. The Faculty of Engineering offers a four Bachelors Degree in Military Engineering (Weapon Technology) which endevours to provide students with the most fundamental elements of technical oriented military technology. The curriculum of this program has been strategically developed so as to provide the students with the most ensriching exposure to advanced weaponary and technologies used in welfare. As a way of providing the students with the most enriching practical exposure, the program is taken with the aid of contemporary projects and workshops. Seminar on Futuristic Trends in Natural Fibre Composites and its Application

Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a GUJCOST sponsored one day seminar on "Futuristic Trends in Natural Fibre Composites and its Application" on January 4, 2019. The seminar was organized with an aim to disseminate fundamental knowledge pertaining to the recent and futuristic trends in the field of Natural Fibre Composites.

Workshop on Wind Tunnel Experiments Techniques and Applications

Under Industry Defined Research Project titled 'To Reduce Water Consumption and Optimize Efficiency of Thermal Power Plants by Using Air Cooled Condensers' funded by Royal Academy of Engineering ,UK under Newton Bhabha Fund, Parul University had jointly with L&T and University of Surrey organized Workshop on 'Wind Tunnel Experiments- Techniques and Applications' on 17th March 2018.


The 2nd International Conference- Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology: Smart Engineering Jointly organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University, India and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. Mechanical Engineering and Allied Engineering had been covered under the theme of 'Smart Innovations' in PiCET'19. The first session on day one was on theme: 'Next-Generation Manufacturing'.

Industrial Visit at Railway Workshop, Bhavnagar

A visit at Railway Workshop, Bhavnagar was arranged by the department of mechanical engineering for students. This workshop is carrying out POH of MG ICF coaches with the target of 15 coaches per month. Recently, the work of IOH of BG coach bogies is assigned to this workshop.
