About M.Design Fashion Merchandising

As a way of providing a 360 degree understanding to the fashion industry, the Faculty of Design offers a 2 year post graduate program in the field of fashion merchandising. The program is strategically coined in line with the global trends in the field of fashion which allows students to not only engage in the design process but also get to participate in the distribution of various forms of clothings and designs. The program is both practical and research based, which allows students to gain an understanding of the market trends and the commercial sector within the fashion industry. As a way of providing the students with a practical hands on experience, the Faculty is equipped with state of the art studios and workshops which allow students to expose themselves to the technical aspects of the field. To face the market competition, the students are taught to have a good balance between fashion and business throughout this fashion merchandising course. In order to have a more hands on learning experience, the students also get an exposure to industrial experts who provide mentorship, access to an incredible wealth of knowledge and valuable networking connections. Thus, pursuing this program will provide students with the ability to navigate the fashion industry from both a creative design, and an innovative business perspective.
