About M.Des. in Entrepreneurship Development

With the growing scope of the business and corporate fields, providing the students with the much needed understanding of the business innovation through entreprenuership has become an essential need. The Faculty of Design offers a 2 year Masters Degree program in Entreprenuership Development which seeks to produce within the students a comprehensive understanding of the essentials of establishing a business related to the creative industries. The program offers an indepth study into the various areas of evaluation, creativity and innovation, finance, entrepreneurial marketing, corporate and contemporary challenges in entrepreneurship and innovation.The program has been strategically designed to create a blend between the creative field of designing, with business so as to provide design an edge in their career with the necessary knowledge and confidence in the field of entreprenuership. The program is taken under the instruction of highly trained faculties who go on to provide the students with the much needed design and business knowledge which is required for every graduate to navigate the indusry. The program also seeks to prepare the students regarding the various areas of project management, project presentation, pitches, investments, incubation amongst other fundamental areas of entreprenuership. The main objective of this course is to develop entrepreneurial abilities by providing background information about support systems, skill sets, financial and risk covering institutions and others for building an enterprise so that future budding entrepreneurs can make right decisions for starting and running a venture. Therefore through this program, the students are equipped with the much needed knowledge which allows them to step into their career with the much needed confidence.
