The recent business ecosystem has been highly characterised by a unique blend of start-ups and small to medium enterprises which have been thriving in the market and have been addressing the various needs of the consumers. To provide the much needed skillsets in this field, the Faculty of Management studies offers a two year masters program in Innovation & Entrepreneurship Management which endevours to dessiminate to the students an understanding of the various strategies and mechanisms required to navigate the scope entrepreneurship. The program is research based, therefore seeks to equip the students with the most contemporary know-how and a key understanding of the various aspects of the field through projects and case studies. MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is aimed at job creation through promoting start-ups and scaling up of existing ventures across multiple sectors, therefore the experts who are trained in this field have both the ability to innovate and implement effective strategies which can further promote the scope of business. In addition to this, the program seeks to develop within the students the necessary skills in ideation, pitching, investments, incubation and business development amongst the various aspects of the field. It will go on to inculcate within the students entrepreneurial competencies including self-confidence, goal setting, planning, information seeking, problem solving and planned risk taking. The Faculty is equipped with state of the art facilities along with collaborations with numerous industries which allows the students to learn first hand and prepare themselves for the requirements of the field.

Xplore-2020

A two day national management event organised by Faculty of Management studies Parul University. More than 800 participants participated from various UG and PG colleges of Gujarat during two days. Xplore'20 was graced by Sanjay Raval, Motivational Speaker and Gayatri Vyas, CEO, VNM GUJARAT with two of our alumni, Hardik Desai from first batch 2004 of MBA programme, currently working as Manager L&T operations Mumbai & Manas Maheta, HR Manager, Team lead.

IN Conference-2020

Faculty of management studies just observed an end of very successful national academic conference INC 2020 held on 19-20 February. This year's theme was: Innovative Management Practices for Sustainable Business Models along with publication partner Journal Press of India, a leading academic publication house. Selected papers will be published in their recognized journal 'Manthan: Journal of Commerce and Management'.

Industrial Visit to Coca Cola

The management students made an industrial visit to Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCBPL), Goblej District of Gujarat which is the largest bottling partner of the coca-cola company in India. Students learnt the vital aspects of industrial, technical and management essential for developing their practical skill sets.

Anveshan

Anveshan, an inter college one day Summer Project Presentation Competition for students of B-Schools across the state was organized by Faculty of Management Studies. The event is designed to allow the management students to take up and practice their leadership role by guiding these students in their presentations. A total of 35 management students across Gujarat participated in SIP competition while 50 others took part in Poster Presentation and Power- point Presentation is fields such as Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Management.
