About Electrical Engineering

The growing scope of digital and electrical systems has created an increasing demand for experts who are skilled in the design and application of equipment, devices and systems which use electricity electronics and electromagnetism. To meet this demand, the Faculty of Engineering's Department of Electrical Engineering offers a 4 years undergraduate degree program in Electrical Engineering which seeks to provide the students an indepth understanding into the field. The department has strategically developed the electrical engineering curriculum in such a manner that provides the students with a comprehensive learning exposure. With its AICTE approval, the Electrical engineering program guarantees students a high quality academic experience. The department’s unique approach to practical training has resulted in the establishment of various laboratories such as the AC/DC Circuit lab, Electrical Machine Lab and Power Electronics lab amongst others. The department follows a teaching model which places particular focus on providing solutions to global technology concerns. Our highly trained expert faculties form prominent institutions such as IITs and NITs provide students with the most practically engaging learning experience imparting within them the relevant skills to meet the industrial demands.

Quality Control Officer

An ability to provide quality checks in various electrical systems and survey to provide safe systems for industrial use.

Micro Electrical Engineer

An ability to design and fabricate micro electronic circuit components which are essential for engineering processes.

Electrical Design Engineer

An ability to electrically design a new electrical system for various applications. They are mainly responsible for developing system specifications and layouts.

Power Systems Engineer

An ability to deal with various transmission and power systems to provide energy from various sources and power plants.
