About Diploma in Military Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering offers a three year Diploma in Military Engineering which endevours to provide students with the most fundamental elements of technical oriented military technology. The military field is not only a field which is concerned with armed forces, there are various technical support fields which go on to to complement this field. As a support service to the defense forces, the military engineering program has been specifically designed in such a way which provides the students with the foundational and entry level understanding in the various engineering processes related to military vessels, aircrafts, drones, weapons and such related technologies which go on to provide the much needed services in this field. The program also endevours to impart within the students a comprehensive understanding of the new and contemporary trends in the technology which is related to the miltary service sector. The Faculty of Engineering seeks to provide the students with the most enriching practical exposure and works along with the armed forces motivational cell towards providing students with the much needed training in of the ethics and service related principles to do with this field.

Seminar on Futuristic Trends in Natural Fibre Composites and its Application

Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a GUJCOST sponsored one day seminar on "Futuristic Trends in Natural Fibre Composites and its Application" on January 4, 2019. The seminar was organized with an aim to disseminate fundamental knowledge pertaining to the recent and futuristic trends in the field of Natural Fibre Composites.

Workshop on Wind Tunnel Experiments Techniques and Applications

Under Industry Defined Research Project titled 'To Reduce Water Consumption and Optimize Efficiency of Thermal Power Plants by Using Air Cooled Condensers' funded by Royal Academy of Engineering ,UK under Newton Bhabha Fund, Parul University had jointly with L&T and University of Surrey organized Workshop on 'Wind Tunnel Experiments- Techniques and Applications' on 17th March 2018.


The 2nd International Conference- Parul University International Conference on Engineering & Technology: Smart Engineering Jointly organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Parul University, India and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland. Mechanical Engineering and Allied Engineering had been covered under the theme of 'Smart Innovations' in PiCET'19. The first session on day one was on theme: 'Next-Generation Manufacturing'.

Industrial Visit at Railway Workshop, Bhavnagar

A visit at Railway Workshop, Bhavnagar was arranged by the department of mechanical engineering for students. This workshop is carrying out POH of MG ICF coaches with the target of 15 coaches per month. Recently, the work of IOH of BG coach bogies is assigned to this workshop.
