About Diploma in Civil Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering Diploma Studies offers a three year diploma program in Civil Engineering, which seeks to impart within the students the knowledge and competencies related to construction and building structures. The significance of construction projects in relation to sustainable development has been on a constant rise, creating a high demand for civil engineering experts. The program provides students with the fundamentals of engineering which will ensure that the students get to effectively navigate the fields and advance in their careers and further studies in the degree programs. The department of Civil Engineering is equipped with a league of expert faculties and resource persons from renowned IITs and NITs, who endeavor to provide the students with a comprehensive theoretical and practical understanding of Engineering. The program is AICTE approved thus guaranteeing students one of the most enriching quality learning experiences. As a way of developing the practical skills of the students, the department is also equipped with laboratories and research centres which focus on various domains of Civil Engineering such as Structural Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Environmental Engineering and Concrete Technology.
