About Computer Science with Gaming Technology

The growing scope of digital technology has opened up new and innovative systems and designs in gaming technology which have allowed the creation of numerous gaming realities throughout the gaming field. The Faculty of Engineering offers a four year B.Tech Computer Science Specialisation in Gaming Technology which allows the students to develop the much needed skillsets and understanding in the field of gaming technology. This Four-year B. Tech course will develop your skills in Game Technology which will include Game Design, Development and GPU Programming and goes on to  involve an indepth ideation of the storyline of the game, rules of the game play, and environment of the game to the theme and characters. The students throughout this program will get to learn the various aspects of mobile computing, such as Java, Microprocessor Architecture, Operating System, Python, DBMS, Computer Networks, Software Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering believes in imparting within each and every student the much needed practical learning which will allow every student to gain the most effective hands on training throughout the entire course of their program. As a way of preparing students for their practise, the program is designed in such a way which provides students with the most enriching hands-on training, enabling students to become experts at game designing, by exposing them to industry-standard software, high-end computer labs and latest AR & VR gear setup for user experience. The program also includes important aspects of game creation, 2D/3D art development, design conceptualization, scripting, sound design along-with exploring various art medium for storytelling process. In pursuing this program, the students will be guided by some of the leading experts in the field who get to prepare them with the essential skills to navigate the scope of the industry.

Hackathon : Crime & Security 2019

Making use of Student Innovation to Combat Cyber Crime: With crimes taking different shapes and forms every passing moment, as a result of the ever advancing technology, the Vadodara City Police, in association with Parul University, took the initiative of organising a two day Hackathon on the subject of Cyber and Security. A group of 30 teams and 100 students took part in this 30 hour Hackathon, which was commenced on the 12th and was concluded on the 13th of September.

Microsoft .Net Technology

The department of Computer Science Application, organized a 10-day workshop on .NET technology. It was very significant in developing the students' basics from the experts regarding the vital elements of Microsoft technology. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Marmik Brahmbhatt, who is a Microsoft certified trainer and expert in .NET development.


Computer Science and Engineering had conducted an arrangement of one-day training program on 'Space Applications and Geo-Information' at Bhaskaracharya Institute For Space Applications And Geo-Informatics Centre, Gandhinagar.

Infosys visit

An industrial visit to Infosys, Pune was arranged by the Computer Engineering department to provide practical exposure to the students. The industrial visit was also aimed at strengthening the industry-academia ties. The industry academic exchange helped the institute and students to understand the demands of the industry. They also underwent a program called Spark during their visit to the Infosys campus.
