About Computer Science and Engineering with Cyber Security

With the world becoming a web of digital connectivity, the need to ensure secured access to the internet and to ensure the protection of private data and information is of great importance. The Faculty of Engineering’s department of Computer Science Engineering offers a 4 year CSE bachelors specialisation in Cyber Security which seeks to produce experts who are trained in these various fields. The program is strategically designed to provide students with an in-depth exposure to cyber security through subjects such as securing web application, services and servers, intrusion detection and prevention, cyberspace and the law as well as cyber forensics amongst others. As a way of providing the students with an enriching exposure to the study of Cyber Security, the faculty is equipped with state of the art computer laboratories and innovation facilities which allow students to develop a hands on training experience. The Faculty is equipped with top notch lecturers and experts who go on to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the academic and industrial aspects of cyber security.
