The Department of Paramedical and Health Sciences offers a 3 year Bachelors Degree program in Optometry which seeks to produce highly trained opticians who actively contribute to the industry and seek to provide the highest form of patient care. Optometry makes use of medical scientific methods and machinery for the diagnosis and treatment of eyes and involves specialised skill sets in developing lenses and eyewear. The faculty offers a comprehensive curriculum which seeks to develop the practical understanding of the students through various hands on training programs.
