About B.Sc IT –Intelligent Systems & Control Engineering

The Faculty of IT & Computer Sciences offers a three year bachelor of science in Intelligent Systems & Control Engineering which seeks to equip students with the much needed training which they require in this field. This program has been designed in such a way which addresses the growing dependance upon automated systems, robotics, and intelligence systems throughout the various sectors of life, there has been an increasing demand for experts who go on to possess the specialised skillsets required to navigate this field. The course teaches students about the fundamentals of intelligent systems using evolutionary algorithms like ant colony, particle swarm optimization and honeybees. This course provides multiple opportunities to graduates to design the fuzzy logic and artificial Neural Networks through case study or project based exercise. Analyze Genetic Algorithm system trough case study. Use and apply engineering tools to simulate various intelligent system. The Faculty of IT & Computer Sciences is equipped with a total of 5 computer laboratories which are strategically designed to provide students with the most vital practical training exposure along with a supercomputer facility which seeks to provide the students with the most effective and efficient platform for high-end computing and data processing. Students who go on to complete this program, will avail endless opportunities in numerous career avenues.
