About B.Sc. (Hons) Radiography

In the field of medical science, the process of diagnosis follows a very complex channel which involves the use of advanced scanning and radio technology which is utilised for the purpose of scanning the internal organs. The Department of Paramedical and Health Sciences offers a 4 year Bachelors Degree program in Radiology with Honours , which seeks to develop apt and expert human resources who have the skill sets and abilities to offer the highest of form quality diagnostics to every patient. Radiology is one of the most fundamental aspects of the medical procedures which helps the medical practitioners in understanding and arriving to a well informed decision in regards to the nature and cause of the disease or disorder and the method of treatment which it requires. The field exposes students to a wide array of expertise in the aspects of basic X-ray, clinical radiotherapy, radiobiology, clinical trials, palliative care, clinical chemotherapy. The curriculum provides the students with a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and the practical elements of the study through laboratories and training facilities which are equipped with state of the art equipments. The students get their learning experience under the guidance from expert radiologists and medical doctors. The faculty is equipped with a 750 bedded multi-specialty hospital which seeks to train and develop the students in line with various methods of medical sciences, while at the same time providing them with the effective hands on training which is required in the industry.
