About B.Sc (Honors) Nutrition and Dietetics


The Faculty of Applied Science provides a four  year honors program in Nutrition and Dietetics which seeks to provide the students with the much knowledge, skillsets and expertise required to navigate the scope of this field of food and nutrition. Parul University’s Nutrition and Dietetics program focuses on promoting healthy living standards through deductive scientific models and experimentation. The department’s elite expert faculties and resource persons, work towards integrating classroom theory-based learning with laboratory practical training. The Faculty is equipped with state of the art research facility which seeks to provide the students with an exposure to the contemporary scientific research on food, nutrition & dietetics and also encourages student contribution on the various levels of social welfare and development. Our curriculum is strategically designed to provide students with the most comprehensive exposure to real-time nutrition and diet concerns to play an active role in disease control and societal welfare. Beyond the scope of the academics, the program also seeks to enhance the career competencies and practical skillsets of the students to match up the various industrial expectations.
