About B.Sc (Honors) Emergency Medical Services

The Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a comprehensive 4-year undergraduate program designed to cultivate specialized technical skills in the provision of critical pre-hospital care. Professionals trained in this field play a pivotal role in responding to emergencies, ensuring timely and effective medical interventions. The Faculty of Paramedical and Health Sciences is dedicated to the development and training of experts well-versed in emergency response mechanisms.The curriculum is strategically crafted to provide students with immersive practical exposure, preparing them for real-time emergency scenarios. It equips students to adeptly handle various high-pressure situations, emphasizing accurate measurements and swift decision-making in critical care cases. To enhance practical training, our university is affiliated with a state-of-the-art 750-bed multi-specialty hospital boasting a dedicated emergency medical services team. This affiliation facilitates hands-on learning experiences, allowing students to refine their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. In addition to academic rigor, the program focuses on honing professional skills and interpersonal abilities, empowering students for success in their dynamic careers within the realm of emergency medical services.
