About B.Design Transportation Design

With the growing scope of the transport industry, and the need for highly sustainable and efficient methods of mobility, there has been a growing demand for innovations and technology which boost the scope of the transport industry. The Faculty of Design offers a 4 year bachelors degree in Transportation design which seeks to impart within the students an understanding of the various aspects and technicalities of designing automobiles. The program focuses in imparting within the students the much needed skillsets in designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of automobiles. The curriculum of this program has been strategically designed in such a way which allows the students to develop the much needed understanding in regards to related aspects of the industry such as energy and environmental management, application of fossil and alternative fuels and designing and development of vehicles of the future. Through this skill oriented training, the program deals with technical designing for fuel and performance efficiency and primarily focuses on designing the aesthetics of the vehicle. The program allows students to harness their creative potential and abilities so as to provide effective and effectient transport and conveyance solutions. As a way of imparting within the students the much needed practical experience, the program is taken under the instruction of industrial experts who go on to provide the students with the essential training. Pursuing this program will allow students to constantly align their abilities with the requirements of the modern age of ensuring a sustainable balance between the economy and the environment while providing effective automative solutions.
