About B.Des. Building & Infrastructure

The growing scope of futuristic cities, sustainable housing and the need for resilient infrastructure has created a place of significance for experts who are skilled in the art of design. The Faculty of Architecture offers a four year Bachelor of Design in Building and Infrastructure which seeks to provide students with an indepth understanding of the modern and contemporary aspects of the field which prepares students to be actively engaged in the industry. The Building Design program has been designed in such a way which enables the students to develop effective design skills in visualization, realization and execution of various scales of buildings and its environment. The Faculty of Architecture is equipped with state of the art facilities for research and creative development which allow the students to explore new avenues and innovate new techniques in the field of architecture. The curriculum of this program has been strategically designed in such a way which provides the student with an indepth understanding of the field through building temporary structures and composite structures using relevant softwares and technologies which are used in the Building Design domain. This program is taken under the guidance and nurturing of expert faculties and trainers who go on to guide the students in the understanding of the various aspects of the field and prepares them for their role in the industry.
