About Military Law

With the growing scope of the legal industry, it has been constantly including new legal frameworks in the field of military law. This certificate course on Military Law seeks to acquaint students with the laws, regulations, applications and practices of military laws pertaining to India and the differences between military and civilian laws. This course will also help the students aspiring for the post of Judge Advocate General (JAG) in India. The JAG is the legal advisor to the Chief of the Army Staff. It is a special entry for the male and female law graduates to join the JAG branch of the Indian Military. The Judge Advocate General is assisted by a separate JAG branch which consists of legally qualified army officers. The scope of this field also allows the students to gain comprehensive insights into the significant aspects of the military services which ensures its functionality.
