A certificate course in Geriatric care management is the process of planning, organizing, and managing long-term care for the elderly and those with physical or mental impairments in order to address their long-term care needs, improve their quality of life, and keep them as functioning as possible. IIt includes collaborating with senior citizens and their families to manage, deliver, and refer to a variety of health and social care services. Geriatric care managers do this by integrating their knowledge of the patient and psychology, human development, family dynamics, public and private resources, including financing sources, with their knowledge of geriatric care, even while looking after their clients throughout the continuum of care. They may, for example, support families of senior citizens and those with chronic requirements, such as individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
