About CAD for Civil Engineers

AutoCAD is a Computer-Aided Design software for the 2D and 3D design of certain objects or places. Computer-aided drafting is widely used in Civil Engineering because of its ability to plan sites a lot easier than hand drawings. It can help design a lot of engineering supplies and is constantly upgrading. This course is a combination of AUTOCAD, AutoLisp program, Adv. Customization, Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Microsoft Project.

  • Duration:

    6 Months

  • Fees:

Rs. 20,500/- for Indian nationals and $420 for International Candidates

  • Eligibility:

The students of ITI / Diploma and above are eligible for this course.

What You Will Learn?

  • Understand the fundamentals and concept of Building Information Management (BIM) and how it is applied in REVIT.
  • Helps students learn how to create conceptual designs.
  • Being a BIM software, it helps students create detailed structural designs, workflows, schedules, documentation and structural analysis.
  • Auto cad Revit is only used for architects, structural engineers, designers and contractors. Revit structure is for construction companies.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, students will have the skills and knowledge to:

  • Design and documentation: Revit generates floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, 3D views, and renderings.

  • Analysis: Optimize building performance in early stage design, run cost estimates, and monitor performance over the lifetime of the project and the building.

  • To create complex 2D and 3D drawing and also rendering of structural components that include framework, foundation, roofs and walls.
