About Laboratory Chemist - Environmental Engineering

A Certificate Program for Laboratory Chemist - Environmental Engineering is a requisite for  B.Sc. Chemistry or Microbiology graduates that lack many practical skills required at Environmental Laboratory for quick and efficient analysis of crucial parameters for water and wastewater, air, and solid waste. The engineering graduates and postgraduates with Environmental subjects will not be available exclusively as laboratory assistants and further, there are many intricacies involved while testing as per IS or APHA standards which are not mastered during studies in most of the cases. Looking at the need for Environmental Impact Assessment made compulsory by the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF) and prevailing Environmental Audit Scheme of GPCB there is and will be a need for trained chemists for environmental engineering laboratories. This short-term course is the best opportunity to work in a fully furnished laboratory with all the latest instruments and develop skills much in demand
