Parul University Students Secure Global Recognition at International Conference at Qatar University
Parul University continues to strengthen its global academic footprint as its students achieved international recognition at the International Conference on Advanced and Sustainable Materials (ICASM 2025), hosted at Qatar University, Doha. Competing against more than 150 international research entries, Parul University students secured the third prize, highlighting the institution’s growing influence in advanced scientific research and innovation.

The prestigious ICASM 2025 conference brought together researchers, academicians, and industry experts from across the world to discuss breakthroughs in sustainable materials and advanced chemical sciences. The Award-Winning Research Team
The research was presented by Muskan Memon, Junior Research Fellow, and Fiza Shaikh from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, under the expert guidance of Dr. Soyeb Pathan. Their participation represented not only individual excellence but also the collective research strength of Parul University on a global stage.
The team presented a research poster titled:
“Acid-redox tailored undecamolybdophosphate-based heterogeneous catalyst for direct oxidative cross-esterification of aldehydes.”
The study focused on developing a bifunctional heterogeneous catalyst for ester synthesis, offering a greener, more efficient, and sustainable chemical processing route. The research aligns with global priorities in sustainable chemistry, industrial efficiency, and environmentally responsible innovation, areas of increasing importance in both academia and industry.

In addition to the research accolade, the students also secured the 2nd Winner title in the Logo Design Contest conducted during the conference.
